Great advice about interviewing! I also try to follow the 80/20 rule when interviewing someone, with the interviewee doing 80 percent of the talking. As for David Simon, don't neglect The Corner, which in many ways led to The Wire. Devastating, to be sure, but filled with incredible writing and acting.

I'm headed to New Orleans soon so I'm debating a Treme rewatch, but I remember disliking it when it originally aired, did you ever go back to that one?
I loved Treme but I'm not a local. My friends from New Orleans hate the show for the dialogue but I'd say it's worth it for the musical guests and cameos.
