Four albums for your week from Ratboys, Ulrika Spacek, and more. Plus, 'The Secret Agent,' Greg Grandin's 'America, América,' and yes, the Bad Bunny halftime show.
I grabbed some tix to see Ulrika Spacek in late March (shoutout to No Fun, in Troy, NY). The new album is amazing, and I can't wait to see them produce that sound live.

Loving this Ulrika Spacek album, Josh. I’m a Chicago native but have been in the Bay Area for 12 years. I see they’re playing in SF in early April. Definitely want to catch them! Seems like they would be fun live. :)
Happy 500 weekend Josh, who you rooting for? I'll be boots on ground, rooting for no rain.
I was planning on highlighting Ratboys and Ulrika for my newsletter tomorrow, now I might as well just link here haha. I read America América over the holidays too (along with another tome Goliath's Curse), beast of a book, up there with Zinn's People's History.
That Ulrika Spacek album is incredible...so bummed I'm out of town for their show at Empty Bottle.

I’m crazy about At Peace in the Hundred Acre Wood off the Ratboys album

Jealous! I'll be rooting for Blaney as always, but won't be upset if Bubba, Chase or an underdog takes the checkered first
Got a ton of longshot bets, bring on the chaos!
